| About the breeder.... I would like to tell you little about myself. Animals have always been apart of my life. I was born and raised on a dairy farm in upstate New York. My husband is a native to Vermont and I have lived here with him for over 27 years. We have 6 children and we live on 225 acres set away on a mountain road in Danville Vermont. Our animals have wide open spaces to run, explore and roam. We have had Goldens since 1997, and we love them dearly. I chose to raise them for their sweet layed back personalities. Although I have champion bloodlines and show quality dogs, I primarily raise them for family pets. From the early weeks of the puppies lives, my children and I hold them and familiarize them with our touch.. Grade school children are brought on field trips to see the pups and children are taught how to hold and care for puppies.. All of our pups are vet-checked and given a clean bill of health before they are placed in their new homes. Some of our pups have been chosen for therapy dogs, to go into nursing homes and into children's cancer centers. My wish for all those who visit our home and wish to purchase a pup, that they experience the joy and friendship that Golden Retrievers can bring. |
